This is a fantastic, sturdy, punishable piece of net. I purchased one particular on January and it lasted just about the entire year. You may say ,"just a year"? Well, I in no way put the net away..rain and sun, sun and rain...the net did not give up! Confident it began to tear from some points (straps) after a while but by no means the mesh. I hit this factor everyday of the year, at least 75 to 100 balls everyday six iron, four hybrid, three hybrid, driver. I changed my hitting mat twice just before having to modify the net. The only con is that the ball bounces back way more that I like. If you set it up in grass there is no dilemma for the reason that the ball is not going to roll back to you that a lot, but if you have it on solid surface like I do, set a trap behind you or be prepared to chase that ball...No threat of injury mainly because the bounce is not hazarous..is just anoying having to chase the ball. I would be good if the net traps the ball and lets it drop straight down. Before this one I purchased a Wilson net that created the ball drop straight down following influence but it lasted no extra than three months. After 3 months of use the ball just went thru the mesh! fore!
One other pro is that you can hit virutally every single club with to it yes wedges as well. Just be certain to get closer if you are going to hit wedges against it.
Net works fine. There is some bounce back on woods but haven't been hit however so not that big of a deal. The only true issue I have is the straps on the net that hold in the pegs (in the rear) have rotted away. I am assuming this is due to weather but it seems they need to hold up longer than 6 months. I reside in Florida so we do get extra than typical rain, but I expected improved. Fortunately, you can place the pegs by means of metal loops in the front to keep the net secured in the ground.
I would say this net is far better than the low-priced one particular that I took back to Walmart, but does not replace the driving range.
